Apple Noodle Kugel Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 3 large eggs
  • ½ stick melted butter
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon grated lemon zest
  • ¼ teaspoon grated nutmeg
  • 1½ pounds (around 3) peeled and grated Gala apples
  • 5 ounces egg noodles

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Butter a 1½ quart baking dish.
  2. Mix and whisk the eggs, butter, seven tablespoons of sugar, lemon zest, and nutmeg in a large bowl. Next, stir in the apples.
  3. Cook noodles in a large pot of salted boiling water for 5 minutes. Strain the noodles and combine them with the apple mixture. Spread the mixture in a baking dish and sprinkle the remaining tablespoon of sugar over the top.
  4. Bake the kugel for around 35 minutes.

Tuna Fish Salad Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 6 ounces drained, canned tuna
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
  • ¼ cup chopped celery
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ½ teaspoon lemon juice
  • ¼ cup chopped onion
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ⅛ teaspoon salt
  • ⅛ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • paprika to taste (optional)

Directions:

Combine the tuna, celery, onion, mayonnaise, lemon juice, parsley, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Mix the ingredients, cover the bowl, and place the mixture in the refrigerator. Sprinkle paprika over the top to add extra flavor.
